I AM HE.....Easter Sunday

John 18:5-6

They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
As soon then as HE had said unto them, I AM HE, THEY WENT BACKWARD, and fell to the ground.

When the people tried to force Jesus to wear a crown, HE withdrew and hid himself, but when they came to force HIM 2 the cross HE offered himself.

When the band of officers(Gentiles,Jews,Roman soldiers) and chief priests AND JUDAS came with lanterns and torches and weapons,Jesus went out to meet them and asked softly"WHOM SEEK YOU?" They answered Jesus of Nazareth(the negative name they attached to HIM to thwart HIM being called the Messiah).Jesus answered very calmly I AM HE.Jesus answered to their calling HIM Jesus of Nazareth because He hated their disapproval of HIM.By doing this HE sets an example to us,TO OWN HIM AND HIS WORDS AND HIS WAYS,no matter the cost,we must not be ashamed.
Judas who used to stand with those that followed  Jesus now stood with those who fought against HIM.
These three little words,I AM HE,terrified his captures and THEY WENT BACKWARDS,AND FELL 2 THE GROUND.
These three little words, revived HIS disciples, and raised them up,these same three little words, strikes down the enemies of Jesus!
JESUS could have striken them dead, while they were down, but HE didn't because HE wanted to show that HE laid down HIS life willingly.Revealing HIS patience and Compassion. So HE only struck them down and thats it, giving them room and space to repent.So...while they were down HE asked them again:WHOM DO U SEEK?" They answered again Jesus of Nazareth,by giving HIM the same answer they showed their stubbornness, they stood firm in their wickedness.
Jesus gives us a great example to follow HIM,HE shows us the example of loving our brothers. We must not consult our own ease and safety, but others as well.
HE OFFERED HIMSELF TO SUFFER AND DIE SO THAT WE MIGHT ESCAPE!

They bound HIM and took HIM away, but before they bound HIM,HE had already bound himself, and committed himself to the work and to the office.HE was bound by HIS love to men and to HIS Father.

Jesus went to the cross to free us from the bondage of sin.
TO THESE BONDS MADE BY JESUS WE OWE OUR FREEDOM.

                    OUR REACTION TO JESUS

WE CAN TRY WHOLEHEARTEDLY TO REPAY WHAT HE DID FOR US ON THE CROSS BY OUR SERVICE AND LOVE.ACTUALLY PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

with that bein said

Palm Sunday,and So It Begins.......

We begin in the book...John 12:12-19 HIS ACCOUNT,the beloved disciple......
PALM SUNDAY....(GREAT RESPECT)...AND SO IT BEGINS.......

John 12:12-19

12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
17 The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
18 For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

These verses of scriptures begins w/Respect,what is respect? Websters gives the definition as an act of giving particular attention, giving a  positive feeling of esteem.2 show special regard. Amen.
So,lets spend alittle time on those who in this passage of scriptures who pay homage 2 Jesus,or gives him much respect on this day.Verse 12 says that much people came 2 the feast when they heard that Jesus wuz coming to Jerusalem.....They were the common people, not the people who lived in Jerusalem but country people who lived outside the city,They were not Rulers or Great High men but common folk.Jesus heart wuz honored, not by the magnificence of His followers,HE wuz not a respector of persons,he gives no thoughts to names or titles but looks at the souls of men. he wuz honoured by the multitude, by the amount of folk.
The occasion was the word of mouth that Jesus wuz coming 2 Jerusalem. So when the people heard that he wuz coming they got stirred and got busy and begin 2 make preparation for HIS coming. They were all n agreement that he should have a great reception.....I really hate 2 get side tracked but how important is it 4 all 2 B on 1 accord when a gathering occurs, and ur tryn to get something established? Ima leave that alone.

So the people gathered all along the street, each 1 with branches of Palm trees n their hands,
now what is the significance of the Palm branches, they represent Victory and Triumph.Jesus knew that he wuz goin 2 HIS death and that His death would defeat principalities and powers of darkness, that is Y he wuz able to ride the beast with such an air of statue. As Jesus passed the people cried out with loud voices saying,Hosanna,Blessed is the King of Isreal who cometh N the name of the Lord.By percieving HIM to be a king they gave HIM much dignity and honour which equals much respect.Hosanna means salvation, and well wishing to the Kingdom, praying Hosanna means they prayed for three things,1.That the kingdom come in the light, and with knowledge and power.2.that the kingdom would conquer all that it set out 2 do and 3.That the kingdom will continue forever.Wow what well wishes the common folk had 4 Jesus and for every little step HE would take. They blessed him and sorely welcomed Him into Jerusalem, and we,every1 of us must welcome HIM also into our hearts in the same manner.

Jesus had a great posture as he rode upon the ass.He sat uprite and tall prepared to recieve the respect that wuz given him.Jesus always traveled by foot. This is the one instance in the Book, where he did not go by foot.He came slowly BUT SURELY,but with an air of humbleness, lowering himself to the level of HIS followers.
The disciples finally came to recall and remember that these things had been prophecied about. That is what we have to do we have to rememeber what is written, and that way we will have an understanding of the things that are happening now.And you have to compare the two, whats happening now and what is written to get your understanding. The people and disciples were remembering that recently Jesus had raised Lazarus from the dead, from 3 days dead to be exact.Because they had just been witnesses this had enabled them today to have no doubt. They had proof. They had believed unanimously.
THIS IS WHY THE PEOPLE CAME OUT 2 MEET HIM NONWAVERING AND WITH NO DOUBT.AND WITH MUCH RESPECT!
SOME OUT OF PLAIN CUROSITY 2 C THE ONE SENT BY GOD.
and so the Pharisees....smh,
finally admitted that they hadn a leg to stand on that they had absolutely no ground against HIM.they finally admitted that all their anger and meanness was for nought.
PEOPLE WHO OPPOSE THE SAVOIR WILL COME TO REALIZE THAT THEY WILL WIN NOTHING,ACCOMPLISHN NOTHING,AND THAT GOD WILL ACCOMPLISH EVERYTHING,HIS OWN PURPOSES IN SPITE OF THEM.
THE KINGDOMS CAUSE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS WILL PREVAIL!

The Holy of Holies

So im feeln troubled and sad bcuz I got invites 2 speak Easter Sunday and I already made other plans...I do understand the priviledge it is that sum1 wud ask and the honor it is 2 serve the Lord n  such  a way.The feeln wil pass quickly bcuz I wil B attendn my 1st catholic service on Easter Sunday. If u have never taken a tour of a catholic church,U really should do that.....
Its like walkn n2 the Holiest of Holies,I hope u know what Im talkn bout,N the Book,The bible, the Holy of Holiest is the room located in the ancient tabernacle of Moses and temple of Jerusalem.  It contained only the Ark of the Covenant, the symbol of Israel’s special relationship with God. No1 could enter except the Israelite high priest. Once a year,ON YOM KIPPER, the Day of Atonement, the high priest was permitted to  enter the small, windowless enclosure to burn incense and sprinkle the blood of a sacrificial animal on the mercy seat of the Ark. By doing so, the high priest atoned for his own sins and those of the people. The Holy of Holies was separated from the rest of the tabernacle/temple by the veil, a huge, heavy drape made of fine linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn and embroidered with gold cherubim.

In the book,Levticus 16:2,God said that He would appear in the Holy of Holies hence, the need for the veil. There exists a barrier between man and God. The holiness of God could not be accessed by anyone but the high priest, and then only once a year. When Jesus dies on the cross HE cried out  in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom” (Matthew 27:50-51a).

The veil was not torn in half by any man. It was a supernatural event done by the power of God to make a very specific point: because of the death of Christ on the cross, man was no longer separated from God. . No longer would we have to depend on priests to perform once-a-year sacrifices on our behalf. Christ’s body was “torn” on the cross, just as the veil was torn in the temple, and now  we have access 2  God through Jesus: “we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain.

So when U walk n2 a catholic church U dont want 2 touch anything,U dont wanna B talkn,U dont wanna B eatn, all U wanna do is sprinkle urself with the Holy water @ the entrance, U jus wanna fall down on ur knees N worship and praya bcuz the precence of God has been kept sacred and it has been honored,it is reverenced N the catholic church.
#The Sanctuary!
the catholic church a place where the devil has taken root,on so many levels, maybe because of their persistance 2 keep it Holy.BUT THAS A WHOLE OTHER BLOG!!!

James Chapter 3

Chaper 3 Speaks of bridling the tongue which brings about a spirit of meekness, and getting wisdom.
Verses 1-12 We R not 2 use our tongues as a Lord over others. We should not say things as tho we R sitting on a throne.
When speaking or teaching we should do it as tho we R learning ourselves as well as the ones we speak 2.
We R all sinners, and as such we should think more of our own offenses and not worry about what others have done.2 bridle our tongue,2 keep hold on it,is a great task and if U can achieve this goal,U will have rule over yourself.U will have become more advanced in your christian walk.If u have the grace and the wisdom 2 bridle your tongue the rest of your life will follow.
Even tho our tongues R jus a small part of who we R,they will cause a great deal of good or hurt.
The tongue all on its own can b a world of iniquity. The tongue can defile the entire body.
Bridling the tongue is not something impossible, but it is something very difficult. It takes watchfulness, pain and prayer. An unbridled tongue hasnt a care in the world.
We must never use our tongues 2 curse or slander or anything like this.It is for prayer and praise.
2 use our tongues 2 perform both is really absurd.A true religious man would never use his tongue 2 do both.

Verses 13-18 The difference between men pretending to B wise and really being wise is getting knowledge from above or knowledge from below.A wise man will not think himself valuable just because of all the things he knows.
True wisdom is known by its works. Not just n words but n every deed. When we are mild and calm then we R best able 2 hear reason and speak well.Glory is taken away from 1 who has an opposite character, such as envy and strife.
The heart is the base of all characters and they cannot dwell 2gether.
True wisdom is a gift from God.It is pure.and peaceable. Those who R wise do everything they can 2 maintain peace.
Heavenly wisdom makes one gentle, not rude or overbearing in conversation. It makes one able 2 4give those who offend. It has no disguise or deceit, because it is busy being sincere and open.
TRUE WISDOM SOWS FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE,WHICH PRODUCES A HARVEST OF JOYS!
